Good Camera for the money...Sep 07, 2010 Very good camera for the money, but not with IS lenses... if you want good picture quality by USM lenses, easy to use, very light camera for DSLR. I have this camera for almost 1 year and the battery life is very good. I would recommend T1i to a friend if you look for camera about 600-800 $...
Best priceSep 05, 2010 Have been a long-time fan of the value in the Canon Rebel series. Upgrading to this model, I found that the best price when I was shopping was easily here on Amazon.
Excellent Out of the box pictures for a beginner SLR userSep 05, 2010 Very good camera for someone who is entering the DSLR bandwagon
Pros:
- Excellent colors
- Very fast response
- Great LCD Screen
Cons
- 1080p 20fps not 30 fps thus 720p shooting is better.

Great for action shotsSep 03, 2010 Up until this camera I was a compact, point and shoot kind of person. My cameras have mostly been Canons because I really like their ease of use, quality, and pictures. This is my first digital SLR and I chose this one for its features, including the HD video. It's got all the bells and whistles for taking great pictures in all sorts of situations. I am a beginner when it comes to all the manual program settings, aperture, shutter, ISO, etc. but where I really love this camera is action shots. It captures moving subjects so well, even if I don't figure out or use all the other features, I'm happy to have this camera just for the action shots. I can actually get the picture I want when I want it. As opposed to a point and shoot with the lag time that got me the shot I wanted after it happened. Very frustrating. Love this camera.
